Affiliate marketing business with links to Amazon product listings.
7 Hills Cutlery entered business as an additional source of income while the owner was attending college. Ordering from whole sale vendors, a select set of offerings sold at, or just below, retail prices, fullfilled a void in the local market. A satisfactory profit was being generated until face-to-face sales were hindered by the covid mandates.
At that time, a change had to be made to the 7 Hills Cutlery business model. The loss of personal interaction, coupled with the introduction of higher minimum dollar amounts by the whole sale suppliers, aided in the change to an affiliate marketing approach to product fullfillment. With no additional cost to the consumer and a reduction of physical inventory for us, promoting Amazon listings appears to be a satisfactory direction for maintaining a source of revenue.
